Rose Sugar Recipe

This sugar is a great way to rim a glass, top a creme brulee, or add to your tea, the uses are unlimited!

1. Rinse your petals to make sure they are clean.

2. Lay them out in a dehydrator.

3. Set them low and let them go!

4. Check them after 12 hours, it is up to you how dry you want them.

5. Crush the dried petals using a mortar and pestle.

6. Add sugar to the mortar and pestle and continue crushing them.

7. Continue adding sure until you are happy with how it tastes.

The less sugar you add, the more floral it will be.

Get Smart: Don't have a mortar and pestle? Get out your handy dandy muddler, and crush the petals into the sugar with it!

Don't have a muddler yet? Let the petals get really dry, and rub the rose sugar mixture between your hands!

Caution: You'll probably smell like roses afterwards, and so will your kitchen.
